عالمی وبا کورونا وائرس کے پیش نظر ملک بھر میں لاک ڈاؤن جاری ہے جس کے سبب مستحقین کی بڑی تعداد راشن لینے کے لیے گورنر ہاؤس پنجاب کے باہر پہنچ گئی۔
صوبہ پنجاب کے گورنر ہاؤس کے باہر راشن لینے آنے والے مستحقین کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمیں کہا گیا تھا صبح 8 بجے گورنر ہاوس سے راشن ملے گا جس کے لیے راشن لینے کے لیے صبح 6 بجے سے گورنر ہاوس کے باہر موجود ہیں۔
مستحقین کے مطابق کل قلعہ گوجر سنگھ میں ٹرک سےاعلان کیا گیا تھا گورنر ہاؤس سے راشن ملے گا۔
مستحق شہریوں نے حکومت سے شکوہ کرتے ہوئے میڈیا سے گفتگو کے دوران بتایا کہ اب ہمیں کہا جارہا ہے مقامی پولیس اسٹیشنز کے باہر راشن ملے گا، ان حالات میں بچوں کا پیٹ پالنے کےلیے کہاں جائیں۔
مستحقین کی جانب سے گورنر ہاؤس سے راشن نہ ملنے پر گورنر ہاؤس کے سامنے مال روڈ پر احتجاج بھی کیا گیا ۔
